Beating of Greek reporter in Constantinople

Greek reporter of MEGA Channel and publisher of the Greek minority newspaper in Constantinople A. Robopoulos "Echo" was attacked by 3 men just outside the offices of his newspaper in Constantinople. A. Robopoulos was treated in the German hospital with head injures and fractured arm.

Greek officials say that they hope that the incident and the behaviour of some stupid people will not bring shadows into Greek Turkish relations but also stated that they hold the Turkish goverment and Turkish authorities responsible for the security and safety of the Greek minority. Greek authorities expect the apprehension, presentation into court and imrisonment of the perpatrators, Turkish antiterrorist police is to deal with the case.It is noticed that only some months ago, Hrant Dink was murdered in the same way just outside his office.
