Best Island to Visit in Greece?

What in your opinion is the best island to visit in Greece?

Whwn we lived in Greece every Summer my husband and i visited almost
every Summer another Island.
So we went to Crete,Skiathos,Mitilini,Samothraki,and of course Thassos which was just"let´s have a coffee in Thassos".
i must say all Islands in Greece are worth to visit.I can´t say that "that one was great and that one wasn`t".
In Crete you meet a lot of English (bääh)and German People,in Skiathos there are a lot Italians(i was surprised)in Thassos also lot of Germans and lot of Greeks and in Lesvos also a lot of Greeks.
Every island has it´s own Charaktere and it is worth to see them all.
´Me and my husband are going to visit a lot more when we next year go back to Greece.
We want at least ones go back to Crete because we stayd there only 4 days
and we booked a Hotel which was a mistake.Crete was to big for 4 days and so we dicided to go back and take our Tent with and just stay where it gets dark,as we did at all other Islands.
we had everywhere a good time.

I forgot,has anyone visited Samothraki?
It´an unknown(to the most people)Island which is wondefull......
That´s the Island where the NIKE in the Louvre comes from.
My husband worked there with the Archeology(they restaurated a castle)
and the Port Police took his diving eqipment away because it´s forbitten
to to dive there with the Whole eqipment(AIR and so on)
You can dive there but only without air.
It´s forbitten because there are still a lot Archeologies in the water.
And you can make a lot of Fishing there....
It has wonderfullnatur with a lot o water which comes of the mountain.
(I can´t remember which is the English word of "Kataraktis")
Under it there is a small sea with icecold clear water where a lot of people
swim(when you like it Icecold).
You think you are in another world.......
