Crete ROCKS!!

My dad is from Chania and my mom is from Rhodes. When I visit Greece I love to stay in Crete. Its not only beautiful but the people are so friendly and nice. In Rhodes they are something else... they care to much about the tourists that they have forgotten their our own culture...

Ive been everywhere in Crete... Omogialos, Elounda, Agios Nikolaos and Georgiopolis are my favorite places!!

One of my great-granparents is from Sfakia.

I was there in the mid-nineties.

So beautiful,remote and peaceful.

My thea is from Sfakia.. i agree with you, Sfakia is very peaceful and beautiful. I especially love their sfakianiotikes pites!!
Has anyone tasted sfakianiotikes pites?
They look like pitas but have misethra in them and honey drizzled on top of them.. so tasty!!
To make them is very difficult, but my thea taught me patiently

.. i don't know if i still have the touch...
