I have been busy and couldnt add back Terastios.

Now, thats not a problem we can put some of them back, however they have to accept the rules of the forum and realize that arguing and complaining against me and the mods and the site is not productive for us. Also swearing is against the vision of our site. We are trying to be an educated site, not a cussing or anger management site.

If they expect apologies from us its not going to happen. It should be the other way around, however we do not request for apologies.

If they can live with that, they can join no problem. Im for having everyone as long as we stay civil. Any more problems and the ban for anyone will be more immediate and permanent.

It is sad but predictable to see www.macedoniaontheweb.com decline.
From a vibe and very interesting site has become a dead boring site, the playground and show off of a handfull of people.
All this due to the fact that the admin has fullfilled his personal ambition and left the management of the site to a couple of useless moderators.
As one of the oldest posters in ALL sites I dare to say that what makes a site succsefull is the partitipation of users, the debate, the spice and the conflicts. Unfortunately for all of you, your sites do not have that any more. Your sites have become the platform where "academics" like akritas and Tsontos think that they are the begining and the end of knowledge.
People go on forums to get away from people like akritas and tsontos!!
I personaly have no interest in participating to your site ever again, even if the owner admits his **** ups and fix everything, the site for me has zero credibility!!
If you think you can achive anything by posting your vast historical knowledge to people like the scopiani who have no ability to understand then you are pissing against the wind. A site dedicated to this cause is a site where real people with real statements have something to say.

A new forum and the same old arguments. I recognize that free speech has to be a part of any forum otherwise we're no better than the people we criticize. On MOTW the unfortunate truth is that some people (me included a couple of times) used the threads to attack the voices of others who in turn retaliated (like I did) in kind. But overall MOTW is an excellent source of information and if it's a bit academic, so what? It never pretended to be a social, party forum. GreekRealm is a great one for chit chat, off the wall comments etc. but it's also more geared to the younger user. I visit there too but have found it a bit too flippant (and it gets nasty too). Granted I'm probably older than most members even here so my tastes are different. But this Greek fighting Greek...very sad.
